We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 165.59. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above the fractal high at 183.08. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (183.08) without reaching the order (165.59), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

IBM stock fell after Q1 revenue miss. Will the IBM stock price continue retreating?
International Business Machines Corporation reported soft earnings on April 24: $14.46 billion in total revenue for the quarter, 3.4% below Wall Street forecast, and forecast constant currency revenue growth for the full year of 2024 in line with its mid-single digit growth model. The company estimated that currency fluctuations could negatively impact revenue growth by approximately 1.5 to 2 percentage points. At the same time IBM announced it has reached an agreement to buy HashiCorp Inc., a leader in multi-cloud infrastructure automation, for $6.4 billion in cash. Stock price closed 8.25% lower on the day after the report.
