The GBPUSD technical analysis of the price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows GBPUSD, H4 is retracing up as it returned above to the 200-period moving average MA(200) after a decline to 1-month low yesterday. We believe the bullish movement will continue after the price breaches above the upper bound of the Donchian channel at 1.34999. A level below this can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below 1.33887. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved to the next fractal low indicator, following Parabolic signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level without reaching the order, we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

UK consumer confidence improved more than expected in June. Will the GBPUSD rebound continue?
UK consumer confidence continued improving in June: the GfK reported UK Consumer Confidence index rose to -18 from -20 in May, when an uptick to -19 was forecast. Readings above 0 indicate optimism, below indicate pessimism. It was the second consecutive monthly gain after readings of -23 in April. Consumers became more optimistic about the overall economy this month. Assessments of personal finances held steady while subindexes related to the economy and its future outlook showed gains. Improving UK consumer sentiment is bullish for GBPUSD.
