Global equity indexes are pointing in opposite directions currently as Wall Street ended mixed on Friday after a shortened trading day in the US. Amazon shares inched up 0.02% amid strikes in Europe while UNI Global Union warned that Amazon would face strikes and protests in more than 30 countries around the world including the United States, Nvidia shares lost 1.9% on Friday underperforming market amid news Nvidia told Chinese customers that it is delaying the launch of new AI chip H20 that is designed to comply with U.S. export rules until the first quarter of next year.

The Dollar weakening is intact currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, slid 0.3 % lower on Friday.

Both GBP/USD and EUR/USD accelerated advancing on Friday while the final reading of German gross domestic product figures for the third quarter confirmed an earlier reading of 0.1% over month contraction. Both euro and Pound are higher against the Dollar currently. USD/JPY ended flat on Friday while AUD/USD accelerated its advancing with both the yen and the Australian dollar higher still against the Greenback currently.

US stocks indexes futures are down currently after closing mixed on Friday after reopening following the Thanksgiving holiday. The three main US stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in the narrow range from -0.1% to 0.3% on Friday while SP Global reported US businesses notched further marginal expansion in output during November with private sector employment falling for first time since June 2020.

European stock indexes futures are mixed currently after closing marginally higher on Friday led by chemical shares. Asian stock indexes futures are mostly down today with Japan's Nikkei leading losses.

Brent is extending losses currently. Oil prices continued their retreating on Friday. The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fell 2% from Wednesday's close as there was no settlement for WTI on Thursday due to the US Thanksgiving holiday. Brent lost 1% to $80.58 a barrel on Friday. However Brent and WTI notched their first weekly gain in five weeks as OPEC+ prepares for the November 30 meeting that will have output cuts high on the agenda.
