Global equity indexes are trading mixed currently while Wall Street ended mixed on Friday. Apple shares ended marginally higher adding 0.03% as Wedbush increased its price target for Apple nearly 30% citing growth potential in iPhones and services, Nvidia shares lost 3.62% underperforming market on Friday with its price-to-earnings ratio reaching 220 for the last 12 months of company earnings, compared with Amazon’s P/E ratio at 110, and Tesla’s at 70, according to FactSet.
Forex news
The Dollar strengthening is intact today. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, rose 0.3% Friday.
GBP/USD reversed its sliding on Friday while EUR/USD reversed its advancing as Office for National Statistics reported Q2 UK real gross domestic product grew at above expected 0.2% over quarter rate when no change was forecast. Both euro and Pound are lower against the Dollar currently. USD/JPY slowed its climbing on Friday while AUD/USD accelerated its sliding with the yen higher against the Greenback currently and the Australian dollar lower still.
Stock Market news
US stocks indexes futures are up currently after closing mixed on Friday. The three main US stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in the range from -0.56% to 0.3% on Friday as data showed that the producer price index (PPI) climbed 0.8% in the 12 months ending in July, up from a 0.2% rise in the previous month, when an 0.7% increase was expected.
European stock indexes futures are mixed currently after closing lower on Friday with tech shares leading losses while UBS announced it ended a 9 billion Swiss franc ($10.27 billion) loss protection agreement and a 100 billion Swiss franc public liquidity backstop originally put in place by the Swiss government when the bank took over rival bank Credit Suisse in March. Asian stock indexes futures are lower today with Japan's Nikkei leading losses.

Brent is down currently. Oil prices ended higher on Friday after the International Energy Agency forecast record global demand. IEA estimated that global oil demand hit a record 103 million barrels per day in June and could hit another peak this month. The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose 0.5% but is lower currently. Brent gained 0.5% to $86.81 a barrel on Friday. Both benchmarks recorded gains for the seventh week in a row, rising about 0.5%.
